WP5: Media Discourses and Foresight Training Workshop

Today, our Work Package 5 leader People's Voice Media held their first meeting on "Media Discourses Analysis and Sense-Making".

Participants were demonstrated and practiced how to collect, categorise and analyse media contents related to current affairs in deliberative democracy and societal issues; and deliver citizen sense-making workshops with local focus groups on their media consumption and verification of our own analysis.

Work Package 5 aims to investigate and hypothesise over future trends and scenarios in participatory democracies through a three-step process of probing, sense-making and responding. This is based on the Cynefin framework.
